How should I prepare?

-  Come with any questions you might have.  We are here to help you.
-  Make sure that you have at least eaten breakfast before the treatment.  Acupuncture
induces a parasympathetic or “Rest and Digest” response in the body and can cause
nausea if the patient is treated with an empty stomach.
-  Bring something comfortable to change into, such as a tank top and shorts, so that we
may better access the acupuncture points on your body.
-  Refrain from overexertion, working out, drugs and alcohol for up to 6 hours after the
visit and make the time to relax and get plenty of rest.
